The communities of Kingston and Genoa are served by the Genoa-Kingston School District. The district is comprised of five schools, four located in Genoa and one in Kingston. They are:

• Davenport Grade School: kindergarten & first grade
• Kingston Elementary School: second and third grade
• Genoa Elementary School: fourth and fifth grade
• Genoa Middle School: sixth through eighth grade
• Genoa-Kingston High School: ninth through twelfth grade

The district’s website houses a great deal of information concerning the school and the School Board. The Illinois School Report Cards, made available to the public, as required by state and federal law, are posted on their website.
